City of Minneapolis Medicare plan information
The City has contracted with Innovo Benefits Administration (Innovo) to perform certain services for the plans that supplement your Medicare benefits. Innovo representatives are available to answer your questions and assist you with transitioning to a Medicare plan suitable for you.
Medicare always starts on the first of the month and there are no exceptions. If you miss that deadline and are not enrolled, you will need to wait until the following month. Please plan for at least 6 weeks to make sure everything is set up and ready to go on the day your Medicare plan should begin. After your enrollment is complete, you will pay premiums directly to the insurance company you have chosen.
